Innovative design, community impact, and a people-centric focus were key for the winners of the 2024 MFE Awards.

Out of over 200 nominations, our judges selected 14 grand and 11 merit winners in 14 categories. New this year is the build-to-rent category to reflect the growing sector around the nation. In addition, the jurors selected The Residences at Rivermark, the grand winner in the adaptive reuse and renovation category, as the Multifamily Project of the Year. Developed by Wampold Cos. and designed by Gensler, this Baton Rouge, Louisiana, office conversion is being touted for transforming a Brutalist office building into a center of luxury living downtown.

As part of the MFE Awards, we also honor three leaders making significant contributions to their companies, communities, and the industry: Rising Star Katie Davis, assistant vice president of operations at Windsor Communities; Executive of the Year Suzanne Abair, president and chief operating officer at Northland; and Hall of Fame inductee Sue Ansel, CEO of Gables Residential.
