The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated proptech innovations for the multifamily industry. Multifamily Executive, and parent company Zonda, will present a two-day virtual event on May 25 and 26 that will explore the technologies that are here, how to adopt them, and the impact they could have on your business.

Kicking off the event will be a fireside chat with Waterton CEO and chairman David Schwartz and CREtech CEO Michael Beckerman on disruption and the future of multifamily technology.

Rick Haughey, National Multifamily Housing Council vice president of industry technology initiatives, and Chelsea Kneeland, director of research and development at J Turner Research, will take a deep dive into demographics, looking at how different generations are responding to technology during the lease-up process as well as in their units and communities.

Claire Johnston, managing director of Lendlease’s Google Real Estate Development venture—a 15-year, $15 billion joint undertaking of master planning, entitlement, and development of Google's Bay Area land holdings in San Jose, Sunnyvale, and Mountain View, California—will share how to manage on-demand data to drive better business outcomes.

Other sessions will tackle how to leverage technology from design and development to operations and property management. Expert speakers will share their perspectives on topics such as the digital amenities arms race and the value of whole building Wi-Fi to on-demand leasing and maintenance management.

In addition, the virtual event will feature innovative proptech pitches, with attendees voting for their favorites, as well as the top 10 tech products improving site management today.

The virtual event is $99 or complimentary if you register for the in-person Multifamily Executive Conference, Sept. 13-15; the early-bird rate of $999 for regular attendees or $899 for nonprofit attendees expires Aug. 13.

Attendance is reserved exclusively for multifamily industry property executives, developers, architects, builders, and other real estate executives.
