Two multifamily technology firms have partnered to improve price transparency. Engrain, a leader in interactive touring, mapping, and digital visualization software, and Jonah, a provider of integrated websites for the multifamily industry, have launched the next generation of websites that prioritize renter trust and transparency.

“We’re at an inflection point in the apartment industry,” said Engrain CEO Brent Steiner. “Transparency isn’t just a feature—it’s the foundation of trust. This collaboration redefines the standard of how properties communicate with prospective renters online.”

The newly enhanced websites incorporate fee transparency best practices and a dynamic pricing calculator, providing straightforward pricing information throughout the leasing journey. According to the firms, this is a win-win, with prospective renters getting a streamlined experience and property managers finding greater efficiency, higher-quality leads, and enhanced brand trust. So far, over 1,000 websites with the all-in pricing have gone live, with many more in development.

Some of the key experiences of the enhanced websites include: interactive property maps that enable renters to explore availability and pricing at the unit level; structured fee transparency that shows all recurring and one-time fees within the shopping experience; integrated pricing calculators that provide real-time monthly costs; and content aggregation of virtual tours, floor plans, photos, and application links in a renter-friendly interface.

“Digital leasing isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about empowerment,” added Jonah CEO Yuri Star. “These websites create a frictionless journey where renters feel informed and in control, and operators can reduce the support burden while improving conversions.”
