The National Apartment Association Education Institute just released the Apartment Jobs Snapshot that highlights key numbers for the market with comparisons to previous years.
Here, data from the report shows the difference in skill sets need from property managers—data that can shape job listing and interview process procedures going forward.

The remaining data shows that hiring will remain strong, not letting up in the third quarter of 2018. Job openings in the apartment sector totaled 36% of available positions in the real estate sector, and salaries for the apartment sector were well above competing sectors, with more than 75% of jobs advertising salaries up to $50,000.
Property management positions were in the greatest demand and highly concentrated in cities such as Austin, Portland and Denver.
