Livano’s inaugural Serve Day recently united 200 residents living at six Livano communities in Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, and Texas to give back and participate in a unique team-building event designed to strengthen neighborly bonds.
“Our team created Livano Serve Day to embody our mission: 'Invest Well. Do Good.,'” says Robb Crumpton, founder and CEO of LIV Development, the developer behind Livano communities. “This means investing in a program that makes a positive impact on both our residents and the communities where we operate.”
At Livano Grand National in Orlando, Florida, 51 residents came together to participate in a Build-A-Bike activity led by The Leaders Institute. Residents worked together to tackle engaging challenges and collect the parts needed to assemble bicycles.
In addition to the 51 residents at Livano Grand National, there were 38 residents at Livano Canyon Falls in Northlake, Texas; 27 at Livano at Town Madison in Madison, Alabama; 39 at Livano Pflugerville in Pflugerville, Texas; and a combined 45 at Livano Trinity and Livano Nations in Nashville, Tennessee, participating in Build-A-Bike activities.
After undergoing a certified safety check, the combined 100 bikes across the five events were donated to various local Boys & Girls Clubs.
"Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida is grateful to Livano for their generous donation of bikes to our local club youth," says Jamie Merrill, BGCCF president and CEO. "This contribution plays a key role in helping our community's families engage in outdoor activities, fostering a healthier lifestyle for everyone involved."
Organized in partnership with The Goodfield Foundation, a nonprofit that supports Livano residents with vibrant programs and service opportunities, Serve Day represents Livano’s commitment to enriching lives and fostering meaningful connections.
"Livano Serve Day is an opportunity for our residents to come together and be part of something bigger than themselves,” says Tiffaney Alsup, LIV Development’s managing director of asset management. “Our hope is that Livano Serve Day is more than just a day dedicated to service, but that it facilitates opportunities for residents to connect with their neighbors and form friendships.”
