Delivered last fall, The Standard at Austin is one of the newest off-campus living experiences for students attending the University of Texas at Austin. The 17-story student housing high-rise is situated a mile from university grounds in the West Campus neighborhood, with easy access to restaurants, bars, and shops on Guadalupe Street.

Developer Landmark Properties with architecture firm Humphreys & Partners Architects designed the building with 287 units and 989 beds totaling 337,847 square feet, with parking for 490 vehicles at three below-grade levels, up to level four. The lobby, leasing office, and 5,400 square feet of retail space are located on the ground floor with residential units, ranging from studios to six bedrooms, on levels three through 17.

Packed with luxury amenities from the ground to the top, the seventh floor offers an all-inclusive pool deck with a Jumbotron. Situated directly adjacent to the pool, residents can enjoy prime-time sports or big television events from the water or from the comfort of several hammocks and lounge chairs. And for those looking for a more peaceful area, the team also added an array of hammocks to the fifth floor courtyards to allow students to relax outside and enjoy the warm Austin weather.
