Startup Oakline Partners continues to add to its platform, acquiring ResidentialOne Management and its affiliated maintenance and inspection services arm, Professional Renovations, in Columbia, Maryland. The acquisition expands Oakline’s footprint in the Mid-Atlantic as well as its presence in the affordable housing sector.

Oakline, which was launched in September by private equity firm Alpine Investors, is dedicated to partnering with and scaling property management companies and association managers nationwide. Its aim is to preserve companies’ independence and legacy while unlocking advantages through modern technology, cross-platform lead generation, expanded service offerings, and access to top talent. This marks its fourth partnership since its founding and expands the company’s footprint to over 80,000 units under management nationally. ResidentialOne joins the growing family of property management firms, including Cirrus Asset Management, Drucker + Falk, and Four Star Realty.

Founded over 25 years ago as Equity Management and operating as ResidentialOne since 2015, it brings over 12,500 units across 120-plus properties in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. In addition, ResidentialOne is recognized for its compliance performance, consistently achieving Department of Housing and Urban Development inspection scores above regional market averages. Professional Renovations’ compliance offering supports ResidentialOne’s property owner clients in maintaining regulatory standing and optimizing asset performance.

ResidentialOne will move forward under its established brand and leadership, with Tony Ross and Louis Sigalas retaining equity stakes in the company. Ross will serve as president and Sigalas as chief financial officer.

“We built ResidentialOne with a commitment to doing affordable housing management the right way: through strong compliance, genuine relationships with residents and owners, and a team that takes real pride in the work,” said Ross. “We were deliberate in choosing a partner, and Oakline’s approach to supporting local operators and investments in technology gave us confidence that this is the right next step for our team and clients.”

Oakline CEO Amanda Sayigh echoed the sentiment.

“Tony, Louis, and the team run a high-quality operation with a demonstrated track record, differentiated service offering, and are deeply trusted by their clients and the communities they serve,” she said. “This partnership expands Oakline’s affordable housing presence and brings a compliance playbook we’re excited to invest in.”
