Hunt Companies Inc., Tilton Development Company, and Ryan Companies US, Inc. have partnered to develop and complete Circa Central Avenue, a community of 227 multifamily units and five two-story townhomes in Phoenix, Ariz.’s downtown central corridor, just across from the Metro Valley light rail station. Studio Meng Strazzara is the architect of record for the project, with interior design by Reverie West Design.
“Circa Central Avenue is an upscale urban infill apartment living experience that combines unique design, comfort, convenience, top tier amenities and a Central Avenue address – all in the center of Downtown Phoenix,” says Daniel Tilton, owner of Tilton Development Company, in a statement to the press.
Studio, one- and two-bedroom units are distributed across the community’s top four levels, with parking, amenities, townhomes and two creative office suites on the bottom two floors. Two separate amenity decks are elevated 20 feet above street level, and offer residents a pool, sports lounge, bocce ball court, and outdoor cooking areas.
Additional amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, a juice bar, and bike storage in a full cycle loft with 93 hydraulic storage racks, a bike wash and repair station, storage lockers, and a bike equipment vending machine. The two-story office suites range from 1,185 to 1,344 square feet in size, and their tenants will have full access to the building’s amenities.
In the interest of expanding the project’s benefits to the surrounding community, the project team has committed to the upkeep of an adjacent 7,872-square-foot parcel of open land. Through a temporary use agreement, the team has landscaped the parcel with the goal of beautifying the area.
