Dallas-based Mill Creek Residential Trust, LLC recently expanded its Northeast portfolio with the company’s first Massachusetts multifamily property, the Concord Mews.

Located in the wealthy Boston suburb of Concord, the 350-unit complex and its 42 townhomes will offer 88 apartment homes designated as affordable units.

“Our development team worked hard to create a desirable and affordable luxury community here in Concord, and it has been very well received,” said Robb Hewitt, vice president of developer group Mill Creek Residential Trust. “The red-hot rental market has helped fuel demand.”

But with one of the best school districts in the state, Concord residents are concerned new residents at the Mews will increase enrollments at local schools.

The Mews will offer 132 one bedroom units, 194 two bedroom units and 24 three bedroom units with an average unit size of 1,098 square feet.

Other amenities include a 7,000 sq. foot clubhouse, pool and bark park. The property will also offer two playgrounds, a bocce ball court and a number of other kid-friendly play areas.

Construction of all apartments and townhomes is expected to be completed by this winter.
