Leading industry executives will address HIVE attendees. Hear from Gables CEO Sue Ansel on sharing a sense of purpose to attract andretain top talent; Tom Toomey, chairman and CEO of UDR, on what it takes to be a global pan-cyclical residential developer in tomorrow’s business climate; Laurie Baker, executive vice president of operations at Camden, on building strong leadership in organizations toadapt to ongoing cyclical changes; and Chris Krager, founding principal of ma modular, on redefining design to meet cost, policy, and consumer demands.
In addition, HIVE attendees will be guided on a tour of three Austin properties showcasing innovation through design, development, and performance. Two of the stops feature multifamily developments, including B-Austin, a new community built on tomorrow’s standards with solar, EV charging, rainwater collection, and graywater recycling, and Magnolia at 1701 E.
