  • Joseph Batdorf
    Joseph Batdorf
    Joseph Batdorf co-founded J Turner Research, one of the nation's leading providers of market research specific to the multifamily industry, in 2003. He currently serves as the company's president. Prior to launching J Turner Research, Batdorf was founder and president of AmRent, where he pioneered innovations in the resident screening business, including sophisticated data-gathering techniques and an automated system to instantly score a prospect. Batdorf currently serves on the National Multifamily Housing Council Advisory Committee.

    Amit Price Patel
    Amit C. Price Patel, AIA, LEED AP, is principal at David Baker Architects (DBA), a progressive San Francisco firm focused on multifamily housing, sustainable practices, and urban solutions. Patel leads DBA’s Urban Design Studio and represents the firm nationally. His recent projects include Richardson Apartments, a 120-unit building for formerly homeless residents in San Francisco, which won both the national AIA Housing Award and the AIA/HUD Secretary’s Award for Excellence in Affordable Housing Design. Patel is currently overseeing the design and construction of the Dr. George Davis Senior Building, affordable rental apartments and a community center for seniors in San Francisco.

    Josh McDonald
    Josh McDonald is directly responsible for all aspects of marketing at Holland Partner Group, providing strategic marketing direction for each of the firm’s five integrated companies representing over 70 communities and 20,000 units. With over 15 years of diverse marketing experience, McDonald has an extensive background and knowledge in ecommerce, product differentiation, branding and generational marketing. McDonald currently serves on the National Multifamily Housing Council’s Marketing and Brand Management Committee, the National Apartment Association’s Marketing Committee and Zillow Advisory Board.

    Brenner Daniels
    Brenner Daniels serves as development director for Holland Development in Oregon and southwest Washington. His responsibilities include development and redevelopment, debt and equity procurement and working with the team in all facets to plan and execute projects. Daniels joined Holland in the fall of 2010 and has over 14 years of experience in development, finance and construction. During his career, he has developed and financed nearly $2 billion in total transaction volume working with life insurance companies, conduits, banks and federal agencies. That experience has been a valuable asset to Holland in the garden style, mid-rise and senior housing communities he’s developed with the organization.
