Multifamily developer ZOM Living has delivered its latest development in the Dallas metro—the 378-unit luxury Mezzo. This marks the second multifamily development for ZOM in the metro area as well as its 12th community in the Lone Star State.

The first move-ins already have started at the community. Located in the suburb of Aubrey, in the desirable U.S. Highway 380 corridor of northern Dallas, Mezzo is close to several major employment hubs as well as dining, retail, and recreation offerings. Spanning 15 acres, the community is comprised of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units ranging between 700 and 1,560 square feet in 13 garden-style buildings. Rents range between $1,383 and $3,155.

“Mezzo is a continuation of ZOM Living’s plans to expand and deliver condo-style living at an accessible rental rate in burgeoning communities. The garden-style residential community we are now delivering offers a new standard of living for young professionals and families seeking luxury rentals in suburban Dallas,” said senior vice president Jason Haun. “ZOM Living continues to invest in Dallas given the strong fundamentals of its multifamily market, fueled by steady population and employment growth.”

Each unit comes with quartz countertops, kitchen islands, vinyl wood flooring, stainless steel appliances including French door refrigerators, illuminated vanity mirrors, walk-in closets, and under-cabinet lighting. Select units feature private yards.

The community features a wealth of amenities for residents, including coworking office space, a lounge, a resort-style pool, an outdoor kitchen and dining area, a game room, a membership-quality fitness center with a yoga studio, a dog park, and a pet spa.

SRS Management is providing leasing and property management services at the community. Additional partners include Synovus Bank, which provided construction financing; general contractor Stanford Construction; and architect JHP Architecture.

According to ZOM Living, it will continue to expand its footprint in Texas, where it has had an active presence for the past two decades with a regional office in Dallas. Last year, the developer broke ground on the 398-unit Hazel by the Galleria and delivered the 417-unit Atelier, both in Dallas.

ZOM Living’s current development pipeline includes more than 5,500 multifamily and senior housing units in Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, Texas, and Washington, D.C.
