Thompson Thrift has announced the development of Premier at West Park, a 336-unit Class A multifamily community in Greeley, Colorado, and The Maddox, a 252-unit Class A multifamily community in the Phoenix suburb of Buckeye.
Fifty miles from Denver, Premier at West Park will begin construction this month and deliver in late 2024. “The multifamily market in Greeley has experienced strong demand and shown significant rent increases due largely to its population and job market growth,” says Josh Purvis, managing partner for Thompson Thrift Residential. “We believe the area is well-positioned to continue its significant growth, and we are excited to bring one of our communities to area residents.”
Spanning 21 acres, the community will include 10 three-story garden-style buildings and an additional 133 detached garages. Averaging approximately 1,000 square feet, the one-, two-, and three-bedroom units will offer quartz countertops; tile backsplashes; designer fixtures; an Alexa-compatible smart hub; smart thermostats; smart door locks; full-size washers and dryers; walk-in closets; and patio, balcony and private yard offerings.

Thompson Thrift also plans to begin construction of The Maddox this month and will welcome residents in late 2024. Purvis says, "There is significant job growth demand for multifamily housing throughout Phoenix's West Valley. Buckeye's population has exploded in recent years, with annualized growth of nearly 10% each year of the past decade. The Maddox will be a highly sought-after community in a market that hasn't had a new Class A apartment community delivered in more than 10 years."
Consisting of seven, three-story garden style building with 80 detached garages, the community’s one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts will average nearly 1,000 square feet. Like Premier at West Park, the apartments will feature luxury finishes including quartz countertops; tile backsplashes; stainless steel appliances; an Alexa-compatible smart hub; a smart thermostat; smart door locks; walk-in closets; and full-size washers and dryers; and patio, balcony and private yard offerings.
Both Premier at West Park and The Maddox residents will have access to a clubhouse, an Amazon Package Hub, courtyards, a heated swimming pool, 24-hour fitness center, grilling stations, an outdoor game area, fire pits with seating, a dog park, a pet spa with grooming station, and a pickleball court.
Since 1986, Thompson Thrift has developed more than $4 billion of ground-up development projects across the Midwest, Southeast, and Southwest. Premier at West Park will be the company’s first community in Greeley and 15th community in Colorado, and The Maddox will be its fifth in Arizona.
