At 31 stories, Society Atlanta features 460 market-rate apartments, 75,000 square feet of office space, 15,000 square feet of retail, 18,000 square feet of indoor amenity space, and 17,000 square feet of outdoor space. Developed by PMG and Greybrook, the new building was designed by architecture firm Cooper Carry.

In close proximity to Georgia Tech, Society Atlanta was thoughtfully designed for remote workers with more than half of the indoor amenity package being dedicated to a coworking hub, including 16 private offices, several conference rooms, and vast shared lounge spaces.

The sky pool deck overlooks Midtown Atlanta and is highlighted by an expansive turf green space heavily programmed with events, like fitness classes and live music, while the gym includes equipment for any workout along with a fitness studio and spin studio. Amenities also include a hot tub, a grill terrace, and various social lounges.

The residences offer floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies, spa-inspired bathrooms, and smart-home technology. Society Atlanta has a Rent-by-Bedroom program where each roommate in a fully furnished three-bedroom suite has their own lease and utilities are split evenly.

“The amount of shared spaces in both the residences and common areas makes Society Atlanta unique to the market,” says Ali Gagliardo, associate principal at Cooper Carry. “Today’s renters want more out of their living experiences, seeking not just a place to stay but a vibrant community that supports their lifestyle. The mix of uses creates an environment with 24/7 activity, fostering meaningful connectivity and convenience.”

Atypical in the Midtown market, the building’s stacked uses include two stories reserved for Class A office space with a separate lobby and elevator access. The ground-floor retail spaces face bustling Peachtree Street with a canopy and ample room for outdoor dining.

Brian Koles, senior director of corporate development for PMG, says, “We are immensely proud to have partnered with Cooper Carry to deliver this exceptionally designed asset to the booming Midtown Atlanta market.”

Society Atlanta’s prominent location meant that concealing the parking within the building’s facade was an important design feature. This challenge was addressed by using patterned custom precast panels, uplighting, and various glazing solutions. Parking was reduced by over half the maximum allowed in the zoning district, due to the easy access to multimodal options available to those living, working, and visiting the building. The building recently received LEED certification.
