TMG Promotes Experienced Project Manager
TMG Partners has promoted David Cropper to the new position of managing director of finance. Cropper formerly served as a project manager and partner for the San Francisco Bay Area mixed-use property developer. He will focus on new equity and debt placement, development, public relations, and operational duties.
Investment Sales Pro Joins Alterra
Alterra Capital Group has hired Jeremy Ben-David as managing director. He will lead the firm’s legal department and will be involved in acquisitions, operations, and project management. Prior to joining Alterra, Ben-David specialized in investment sales and brokerage at Newmark Knight Frank, primarily focusing on office buildings.
Freddie Mac Exec Moves to Cohen Financia
Adrian Corbiere has been named executive vice president with Cohen Financial. Corbiere will be responsible for building the firm’s multifamily portfolio. He formerly served as senior vice president and head of the multifamily division at Freddie Mac. He will be based in Washington, D.C.
Creekstone Appoints VP
Lynn Kelleher has joined Creekstone Management as vice president, commercial property management. Kelleher will supervise the team that manages the firm’s commercial portfolio. She previously was property manager with Crescent Real Estate Equities in Houston.
Community Development Names New CEO
Joe Reilly has been named CEO of The Community Development Trust. Reilly is the manager of the community development real estate group at JP Morgan Chase Community Development Corp. He will succeed Judd S. Levy, the trust’s founder and CEO, on Aug. 1.
Duo Forms New Company
Jay Crotty and Tim Johnson have formed Realty Asset Advisors in Tampa, Fla. The new firm will have a primary focus on multifamily and retail properties. The company also will offer market research and consulting services. Crotty and Johnson previously worked together as agents at Marcus & Millichap. Together, they have closed more than $750 million in transactions.
HUD Official Joins Wells Fargo
Charles H. “Hank” Williams has joined Wells Fargo’s Multifamily Capital Division as head of Federal Housing Administration (FHA) production. Williams formerly was deputy assistant secretary of the Office of Multifamily Housing in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He will lead the effort to expand the firm’s FHA lending business.
