The focus on living near the water couldn’t have been clearer in the scope of rehab work at Avalon Marina Bay: In addition to fully renovating the property’s 205 apartments, the development team refurbished the community’s 229 boat slips, as well.
The team carefully considered the project’s design to cause minimal disturbance to the area’s plants and wildlife while taking advantage of the location’s natural beauty. The floor plan, building materials, colors, and decorative finishes were all selected to provide a refined, comfortable setting and reflect the existing environment.
This was accomplished by making the marina a focal point throughout the community. Bedrooms and private patios were expanded to offer additional seating and outdoor space overlooking the harbor, and common areas such as a new outdoor pool and sundeck, and rooftop lounge and grill provide striking views and premium spots for socializing.
Residents also received upgraded in-unit finishes like stainless steel appliances and hard-surface flooring, as well as a modernized fitness center.
Although Avalon acquired the project after construction was already under way and needed to get up to speed quickly, it finished the renovation ahead of schedule.
