In Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood, the development arm of locally based Fifeld Cos. has opened a 35-story luxury rental tower dubbed The Sinclair.
The building's 390 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences and four-bedroom penthouses lease for $1,900 to $13,870 and range in size from 500 to 2,600 square feet.
Each of the units features quartz countertops, plank flooring, frameless glass showers or tubs, and high-end faucets. The kitchens, inspired by American designer Mick De Giulio, include marbled porcelain backsplashes, white soft-close cabinets, and stainless steel appliances and range hoods. The apartments also offer smart thermostats, blackout window shades, and oversized windows with views of the city skyline and Lake Michigan.

The Sinclair's roof deck contains several amenities for entertaining guests, such as lounge seating, cabanas, a fire pit, outdoor grilling kitchens with private dining areas, a bar area, televisions, gardens, and an 850-square-foot dog run. Residents can also make use of the outdoor pool and spa on the sun terrace.

Inside, a high-end fitness room is outfitted with Pilates equipment and separate yoga and private physical therapy studios. Additional amenities include a surround-sound screening room, resident lounge with chef’s demonstration kitchen, business center and conference room, dog spa, Starbucks coffee bar, 24-hour concierge, and secure-access garage.

The tower’s public spaces showcase artwork from renowned artists such as Alexander Calder, Peter Tunney, Ryland Arnoldi and WRAPPED, Damien Hirst, and Frank Stella.

“The grand opening of The Sinclair ushers in a new standard of uber-luxury, spa-style living in the Gold Coast that people have been waiting for,” said Randy Fifield, chairwoman of Fifield Realty Corp., in a statement. “It’s not an easy task to raise the bar on services and interior spaces in a neighborhood that is known for its grandeur and elegance, but we embraced the challenge and created something spectacular.”
