Leading multifamily firm Greystar Real Estate Partners and Partners Group, a global private markets investment firm acting on behalf of its clients, have broken ground on a multifamily high-rise in Bethesda, Maryland.

“7340 Wisconsin Ave presents the unique opportunity to transform a forlorn site in the heart of Bethesda into a boutique project befitting of its trophy location, direct access to mass transit, top public schools, and exceptional demographics,” said John Clarkson, managing director of development at Greystar. “We are very fortunate to venture with Partners Group and collectively believe moving forward with our project in an uncertain environment will generate significant long-term value for the community and the partnership.”

Located about a block away from Bethesda Metro stations and near many shopping, dining, and entertainment options, the 26-story tower will comprise 301 residences, with 46 designated as moderately priced dwelling units, retail on the first floor, and four levels of below-grade parking. Floor plans will include studio, one-, two-, and three-bedrooms with penthouse units on the upper floors.

Designed by Bethesda-based SK&I Architecture and New York City-based interior designer JGNA, the tower will be distinctive with a geometric terracotta façade and a minimalist sculptural interior.

Amenities will feature a speakeasy, a rooftop pool, a screening room, work-from-home multiuse spaces, a fitness center, and 24-hour concierge.

“We are pleased to expand our relationship with Greystar, one of the country’s top developers, on this project. We look for high-conviction growth themes with best-in-class operators,” said Jason Longo, member of management for Private Real Estate America, Partners Group. “The residential sector has been a core focus for us in the United States, particularly high-quality assets with world-class amenities that support the resident experience.”

The first units are expected to deliver in the fourth quarter of 2025, with final completion in early 2026.
