The HBA of Greater Dallas and Green Built Texas will host the annual Texas Green Home Summit in Irving Feb. 16 and 17. Designed for single-family and multifamily builders as well as lenders and appraisers, real estate professionals, and product suppliers, the conference will offer a host of educational and networking opportunities targeting the growing green market.
The slate of educational sessions will cover a range of topics from green building basics to advanced building science, including the evolution of Energy Star, getting the most from green appraisals, understanding green codes and legalities, and marketing.
The educational lineup will kick off with keynote speakers John Tooley of Advanced Energy and Dave Porter of Porterworks. Among the other presenters will be green builder Chris Miles, the USGBC’s Nate Kredich, and building scientist Justin Wilson.
