A new luxury condominium building in Manhattan is enjoying strong sales, thanks to bountiful amenities and a premium East Village location.

Closings have begun at the 82-unit, seven-story Steiner East Village. The project, which includes one- to four-bedroom condos and penthouses, is now 75% sold. The building is being marketed by Realtor Fredrik Eklund, star of Bravo TV's Million Dollar Listing New York. (Click here for a clip from the show about the building.)

“Sales at Steiner East Village have been so strong because it truly hit the trifecta of being the right product, in the right location, at the exact right time,” says Eklund of Douglas Elliman, who is handling the building’s exclusive sales and marketing along with John Gomes. “At 75% sold, we're right where we wanted to be at this point with the building ready for immediate occupancy, and we've achieved some record-breaking pricing for the neighborhood with our penthouse units. Steiner has delivered a beautiful building that is absolutely transformative for the neighborhood.”

The classic, loft-style interiors were designed by Paris Forino and offer 10-foot-plus ceilings, oversized windows, marble finishes, wide-plank floors, top-of-the-line appliances, and an abundance of light and air.

The building’s amenity spaces, encompassing over 16,000 square feet, include a 50-foot-long indoor pool, a garden, a 2,000-square-foot fitness center, a sauna, a steam room, parking, a resident library with a fireplace, bike storage, a pet spa, a children’s playroom, and a 4,000-square-foot common roof deck with stunning, protected views.

“We offer a unique experience in a unique neighborhood, and it’s extremely satisfying to have received such a great response from brokers and their buyers,” says Doug Steiner, chairman of Steiner NYC, the developer. “We strategically held back our best and favorite units until now so that buyers could see the completed product.”

Steiner East Village spans the block from 11th to 12th streets along Avenue A, with its main entrance on tree-lined East 12th Street. The surrounding neighborhood is full of eclectic art and music offerings, community gardens, quirky mom-and-pop stores, a bustling nightlife, and sought-after restaurants. Prices on the remaining units start at $1.675 million.
