Developer Trammell Crow Residential (TCR) announced the grand opening of Domain West Hollywood, a stylish mixed-use apartment community in West Hollywood's East Gateway District.

The project includes 166 residences and more than 9,000 square feet of ground floor retail. Catering to urbanites and creative professionals, the boutique community offers both easy access to Los Angeles and a charming neighborhood of its own, according to TCR.

Domain is in walking distance to some of Hollywood’s most iconic attractions, including the Hollywood Hills, Melrose Avenue, the Grove, Lot Movie Studio, West Hollywood Farmers Market, and more. The building maximizes sightlines to the nearby Hollywood Hills, and a dramatic three-portal entry from Santa Monica Boulevard directs views to the Hollywood sign. Its red panels are evocative of the iconic Formosa Cafe across the street.

“The neighborhood is steeped in the romance of Old Hollywood, which inspired us to create a lifestyle experience that evokes the glamour of the past, but with a fresh, contemporary aesthetic,” Garth Erdossy, senior managing director at TCR Southern California, says. “Our goal was to be both local in context, and global in appeal.”

While finishes and furnishings by interior designer Jonathan Adler make subtle reference to Old Hollywood style, designer and pop artist Malika Favre references Hollywood glam with her bold, minimalist vision for the community.

Designed by architecture and planning firm Studio One Eleven, Domain offers one or two-bedroom studio apartmentss that range from 589 to 1,341 square feet. Each unit includes wood plank flooring and a modern kitchen with quartz countertops, GE stainless steel appliances, Moen plumbing fixtures, and European-style cabinetry.

Unit bathrooms include porcelain tile floors, Porcelanosa tile shower surrounds, a large bath, framed vanity mirrors, and generous natural lighting. In addition, each apartment residence has a private deck, or patio, for ground floor units.

Communal spaces include a pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen with a grill and pizza oven, an indoor/outdoor sky lounge, a fire pit with lounge seating, and a state-of-the-art fitness studio. Other amenities include gated garage parking, a mail room with parcel delivery, a pet wash, wifi in common areas, and online grocery delivery.
