On the south side of the Summerlin master plan in Las Vegas, a new upscale apartment complex by developer The Calida Group’s Elysian Living brand opened its doors in May 2021. Elysian at Tivoli features 359 units, offers a unit mix from studios to three-bedrooms, and appeals to renters looking for the glitz and glam of Sin City paired with mountain views and walkability to more than 50 restaurants and retail options.

With the goal to deliver a highly social atmosphere, the developer added copious gathering areas for residents, including a hammock farm, a pet park, picnic areas, and pool amenities. Plus, the 22,000-square-foot clubhouse includes a wine tasting lounge and party area, a hospitality bar, a poker lounge, an indoor-outdoor juice bar, along with the property’s health and fitness offerings.

The clubhouse’s design continues all the way to the facility’s bathroom. Eric Cohen, The Calida Group co-founder and managing director who leads some of the company’s design initiatives, was inspired by the cheeky lyrics of the Outkast song “Roses” and selected a rose-scented, scratch-and-sniff wallpaper for the bathroom’s walls. In addition to the look and smell of pink and red roses, the space also features quirky hand light fixtures and masculine design elements of black subway tile and brass gold fixtures.
