Ampeer, a new brand of exclusive turnkey luxury residences, will open the doors to its flagship Washington, D.C., property this summer. The project, which is the result of a renovation of the historic Patterson Mansion on Dupont Circle, will offer a total of 92 residential units, communal spaces that encourage social interaction, and dedicated food and drink service.
The concept, which is being pioneered in D.C., will target highly transient professionals in the Washington area who often rely on hotels or corporate housing. Following its launch, the model is expected to be replicated in other major international cities. Tenants can take leases for as few as three months up to one year.
Ampeer’s prime location is within walking distance of dozens of restaurants and cultural institutions. Its amenities include 24-hour concierge service, a state-of-the-art fitness center, complimentary breakfast, and included bike- and car-share memberships. The building has begun pre-leasing, with move-in dates beginning in early July.
“We wanted to create a residential community that was about more than just a place to rest your head. Our vision for Ampeer was to provide residents with opportunities to connect—inside and outside of the building,” said Frank Saul, founder and CEO of Saul Urban, co-developer of the project with Rooney Properties, in a statement. “Through our inviting common spaces, morning breakfast, and evening drinks and hors d’oeuvres, residents are able to connect with their peers, while our dedicated team of lifestyle associates and diverse lineup of programming provide them access and connection to the city.”
