The tallest multifamily tower planned for downtown Tampa, Florida’s Tempo District is nearing groundbreaking. Developed by LD&D, the 28-story DoMo tower will offer 360 apartments ranging from studios to three-bedroom units; a 586-space parking podium; and over 45,000 square feet of amenity space.
As part of the $200 million mixed-use development Cass Square, DoMo’s residents and the public will also have access to 32,500 square feet of ground-floor retail. DoMo is the first phase of the 2-acre development where residents will enjoy 10,000 square feet of co-working space, a pickleball court, and a sky lounge on the 26th floor.
“Our vision for Cass Square is to serve as a key centerpiece of downtown Tampa, connecting all its unique neighborhoods and offering a dynamic mix of experiences that enhance quality of life for both residents and visitors,” says Diego Bonet, managing partner of LD&D.
“We are excited to introduce this community-centric concept in an invaluable location, furthering connectivity with Tampa’s main amenities as the city continues to experience impressive economic and population growth.”
To be built by general contractor Coastal Construction Group, Cass Square was designed by Baker Barrios Architects. Cass Square will feature a pedestrian paseo dividing restaurants and other retail experiences from the residential component and the Element by Westin hotel, which will be developed in partnership with Dynamic Group. The 10-story, 178-key hotel is slated for groundbreaking later this year.
