Dallas-based KWA Construction has broken ground on phase II of its newest project, Mustang Station in Farmers Branch, just outside the city. The four-story, 186-unit apartment development targets young professionals flocking to the Dallas–Fort Worth area, offering upscale amenities at an affordable price.
Developed by Western Securities and designed by BGO Architects, Mustang Station is located next to a DART light-rail station, giving residents easy access to public transportation throughout the Dallas area.
“KWA will execute the design team’s vision of building practical, transit-oriented housing where residents can easily commute into downtown Dallas or throughout other parts of the [metro],” said Brian Webster, president of KWA Construction, in a statement. “The apartment complex will accommodate the younger generation of business professionals seeking cost-friendly living without compromising valued modern-day amenities.”
Mustang Station includes a swimming pool with a tanning ledge, two interior courtyards, and a spacious arbor. Additional amenities include a coffee station, fitness facility, and pet grooming station. A five-level parking garage with 263 spaces will be added during phase II.
The 177,106-square-foot development offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom units ranging from 588 to 1,400 square feet. Mustang Station is expected to be completed by the end of 2018.
