Construction has begun on Hines’ newest multifamily community, NorthLight at Edge-on-Hudson, a Class A project set to add 246 studio, one-, and two-bedroom units to the Edge-on-Hudson master-planned development in Sleepy Hollow, New York.
Apartments at NorthLight at Edge-on-Hudson will range from 565 to 1,406 square feet in size, with each unit featuring high-end finishes. Community amenities will include a 17,000-square-foot outdoor courtyard featuring a swimming pool, a fitness deck, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, seating and lounge areas, two penthouse terraces, a roof deck, an indoor clubhouse with co-working space, an indoor fitness center, a kids’ play room, a communal kitchen and wine lounge, conditioned storage space, a pet spa, and bicycle parking. The five-story parking garage offers 427 private parking spaces for residents, along with access to each residential floor.

The Edge-on-Hudson master plan offers over 16 acres of community parks and a 1.5-mile waterfront promenade on the Hudson River. The community is located 25 miles from New York City and half a mile from the Tarrytown Train Station, with access to Grand Central in under 40 minutes.
The Hines project team has closed on its loan for NorthLight with Santander Bank, marking the third project that the bank has helped finance for the firm. The community is expected to start leasing in the first quarter of 2022, with completion expected in the third quarter of 2022.
