Crescent Communities

Crescent Communities and CP Capital US recently broke ground on a new multifamily community, NOVEL Independence Park, in Tampa, Florida. Part of 44-acre mixed-use Independence Park, the residential community will offer 277 units spread throughout three five-story buildings.

“We are thrilled to officially break ground on NOVEL Independence Park and continue our strategic growth in the Tampa market,” says Tim Graff, managing director of Florida for Crescent Communities. “Together with NOVEL Beach Park, another community that recently broke ground in the Tampa area, we are grateful for the incredible growth and success we continue to see in this vibrant market.”

Offering a relaxed and comfortable lakeside lifestyle, NOVEL Independence Park will feature Class A interior finishes, including stone surface countertops, vinyl wood flooring, and stainless steel appliances. Social amenities will include a double-height fitness center with a private yoga and spin studio; a rooftop lounge; an indoor-outdoor private event space; a dog park; a pool deck overlooking a pond; a nature trail; and detached garages.

Located in Tampa’s Westshore Business District, the community will be at the center of the state’s largest concentration of Class A office space while also providing easy access to retail centers and established employers. Within walking distance is public golf course Rocky Point Golf Club, Skyway Sports Complex, and the trailhead to Skyway Park Trail.

“Tampa is a market with enormous potential and ongoing opportunities for growth,” says Logan King, vice president at CP Capital US. “We are thankful for our partnership with Crescent Communities and are thrilled to celebrate the groundbreaking of NOVEL Independence Park, a premier residential experience within the Westshore Business District. Our goal is to offer a first-class community for residents in the thriving Tampa market, and we look forward to seeing this vision unfold over the coming months.”

Dwell Design Studio, LandDesign, Haiff Associates, and Vignette Interior Design partnered on the project, and CBG Construction will serve as the general contractor.

NOVEL Independence Park is Crescent Communities’ seventh multifamily community in the Tampa market. Together with CP Capital, formerly known as HQ Capital Real Estate, the partnership recently developed RENDER Covington, a 315-unit multifamily community in Covington, Georgia.
