Austin, Texas-based residential developer Aspen Heights Partners has started construction on a 323-unit, mid-rise multifamily development in the city’s East Riverside Corridor neighborhood. The community will be located less than 5 miles from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as 1 mile from Oracle’s corporate campus, and will provide easy access to the area’s arts, entertainment, retail, and restaurant offerings, according to the developer.

“We see tremendous potential in Riverside, which benefits from its access to arts, entertainment, restaurants, shops, and everything that the greater Austin area has to offer,” says Greg Henry, founder and CEO of Aspen Heights. “It’s our top priority to continue to deliver best-in-class projects, and we are actively seeking new development opportunities to strategically grow our portfolio of multifamily, student housing, and active-adult housing projects.”

The four-story community will include a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, as well as a four-story parking garage, two interior courtyards, a fitness center, and a rooftop amenity deck with a swimming pool. Leasing is expected to start in November.

“The East Riverside Corridor has seen an exciting influx of new businesses, restaurants, residential, and mixed-use development that has energized the area,” says Todd Gaines, division president at Aspen Heights Partners. “We look forward to delivering an exceptional community with a quality of life that exceeds the typical apartment rental experience.”
