Phoenix-based Alliance Residential Co. is developing 1,300 new apartment units across five new Broadstone-brand luxury communities in the metro Phoenix area. Broadstone Fashion Center and Broadstone Arts District are open for leasing, while Broadstone Roosevelt, Broadstone Gilbert Heritage, and Broadstone Lakeside are under construction and set to start pre-leasing later this year.

"The metro Phoenix area has proven to be a thriving business environment which continues to support development of Class A residential communities," said Ian Swiergol, managing director for Alliance Residential, in a statement. "Residents are attracted to properties with finishes and amenities that match or mirror the high-end nature of their locations. Alliance has been part of this growing and vibrant metro area for many years, and adding these new communities cements our commitment to developing best-in-class properties in the region.”

The Broadstone Fashion Center is a 335-unit community located in Chandler, Ariz., a fast-growing tech employment center. Studio and one- and two-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 669 to 1,306 square feet are available for leasing there from $1,000 to $1,950. Amenities include tech lounges, fitness spaces, a pool with cabanas, and a private pet park.

Also open now is the Broadstone Arts District in downtown Phoenix, next door to the Phoenix Art Museum. The building’s 280 units range in size from 606 to 1,148 square feet, with rents ranging from $1,200 to $2,950. It is located in close proximity to a light-rail station, and amenities include a chef’s kitchen, gallery space, a gaming area, and outdoor dining spaces.

Broadstone Roosevelt will also be located in downtown Phoenix, on Roosevelt Row, a known art and cultural event center. The 316-unit community will offer studio and one- to three-bedroom apartments, as well as brownstones, for pre-leasing starting this fall. The mixed-use building will include retail and dining.

Broadstone Gilbert Heritage is under construction in downtown Gilbert, Ariz. It will offer 256 carriage and one- to three-bedroom apartments for pre-leasing this summer.

Broadstone Lakeside will begin pre-leasing on 150 studio and one- to three-bedroom units near the end of 2017. The transit-oriented community is located in the middle of Tempe, Ariz., and will provide access to downtown Phoenix and Arizona State University by way of a light-rail stop.
