Fuse Cambridge, a Class A multifamily asset in Cambridge, Mass., has been acquired by Wafra Residential Value Invest, a real estate platform specifically designed to invest in U.S. multifamily real estate on behalf of German and other European investors.
The LEED Silver–certified community, built in 2016, contains a mix of studios and one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments alongside a full amenity package. The development is strategically located near Harvard, MIT, Boston College, and the Alewife “T” transit station, which provides residents with access to employment centers throughout Boston.
Wafra Investment Advisory Group manages approximately $20 billion in assets, and its Residential Value Invest platform has acquired over $6 billion in real estate holdings since 1998.
“Fuse Cambridge represents the sixth acquisition for the platform and provides an essential addition to the existing Wafra Residential Value Invest real estate portfolio,” Frank Lively, senior managing director of Wafra Real Estate, said in a statement.
