Waypoint Residential, a rental housing owner, developer, and financier active in the South, Southeast, and Midwest, has taken the next step in its strategic growth plan with three new senior appointments. Andreea Paraschivoiu has been appointed vice president of operations, Karen Kasteel is now vice president of marketing, and Daniel Price has been named vice president of acquisitions.
Paraschivoiu and Kasteel each have over 13 years of real estate experience. Both will be based in Waypoint’s Stamford, Conn., office, where they'll work closely with Waypoint’s COO, Peter DiCorpo.
Paraschivoiu joined Waypoint from Voltari Corp., where she served as CFO. She has also worked for RealFoundations, where she provided management consulting to real estate investment managers; for AIG Global Real Estate Investment Corp., where she served as director of finance; and as an auditor for Deloitte & Touché and Arthur Andersen.
Kasteel joined Waypoint from K3 Capital Advisors. She has also served as managing director of Kennedy Wilson’s Capital Markets Group, where she was responsible for raising capital from investors.
Price has over seven years of real estate experience at Waterton, where he served in various acquisition- and asset-management roles. Price will be based in Chicago, where he'll be tasked with sourcing Midwest acquisitions opportunities in collaboration with senior managing director Ed Ryder.
