Student housing owner, manager, and developer EdR has announced five promotions from within its leadership team. EdR aims not only to recognize these individuals for their accomplishments, but also to position the company for further growth.

Olan Brevard, a leader in EdR’s development and acquisition group, has been named executive vice president of acquisitions and off-campus development. Brevard has over 40 years of experience with EdR and has been recognized for his role in generating almost $2 billion in asset growth for the company since 2005.

Bob Earwood has been promoted to senior vice president of construction and engineering services. Earwood will succeed Wally Wilcox, who has stepped down from the position in preparation for his retirement. Earwood has been with EdR since 2014 and brings over 30 years of construction experience to his new role.

Scott Baron has been promoted to senior vice president of acquisitions and development. Barton has been a member of the acquisitions team for the past five years and last year led deals for off-campus communities at the universities of Arizona, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Pittsburgh.

Agnes Webb has been named vice president of tax compliance. Webb has been with EdR since 2008 and currently supervises the company’s tax structure.

Patrick Parsons is now vice president of development. Parsons began his tenure at EdR as a financial analyst in 2013, following his experience in mergers and acquisitions at ServiceMaster. He is expected to enhance EdR’s pursuit and development of student housing assets.

"The tremendous growth the company has experienced in recent years has opened up opportunities to add to our leadership team," said EdR CEO Randy Churchey in a release. "We have some of the most talented people in the business, and we are fortunate to fill these new roles from within our own ranks."
