Denver-based developer Continuum Partners has hired Donna Blair as its next COO. The industry veteran will be tasked with overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations and collaborating with civic and business leaders.

Blair has more than 25 years of experience in real estate development and asset management of high-profile commercial office, retail, and mixed-use projects.
She has worked closely with Continuum Partners in her previous positions, most recently while serving as senior vice president, portfolio management, at Pacific Retail Capital Partners (PRCP), which she joined in 2011. Prior to her role at PRCP, she was the vice president of development for Meadowlands Xanadu, a 2 million-square-foot retail, restaurant, and entertainment mixed-use project in East Rutherford, N.J. Blair also served as development director for Tishman Speyer Properties, where she oversaw the redevelopment of Rockefeller Center.
“We are excited to welcome Donna to Continuum Partners as chief operating officer,” said Mark Falcone, founder of Continuum Partners, in a release. “I first met Donna in the early 2000s while she was at Tishman Speyer on the Rockefeller Center team. Donna has deep operations capability and is also able to think outside the box, which is essential for us, given the nature of our projects.”
In the release announcing her hire, it was said that Blair was drawn to Continuum for its “ability to immerse itself within a community and further enhance it in a long-term, sustainable way.”
“Continuum Partners is a vital part of the Denver business community, and I am excited to join such a progressive firm,” said Blair, in the release. “The role of chief operating officer is the perfect combination of my diverse expertise in operations, development, finance, and leasing, and I look forward to building on Continuum’s track record of innovative, successful value creation in this strategic capacity.”
Continuum referenced a 2015 study from the Urban Land Institute that found that among all ULI members who are chief executives, executive directors, or the top officers in their organizations, only 14% are women.
“In joining Continuum Partners as COO, Blair will not only take her expertise to the next level, but will be a part of an organization that differentiates itself in the real estate industry,” the release stated.
As COO, Blair will interact closely with each of Continuum’s departments to ensure that each team is properly staffed and supported.
Blair relocated to Denver from Chicago with her husband, Tim, and two teenage sons.
