Axiometrics founder and former president Ron Johnsey has been named CEO and chairman of the apartment/student housing data and analysis firm, effective Dec. 1, 2016. COO Keith Walters has been named the company’s president.
In their new positions, Walters will assume more of the firm's day-to-day operating responsibilities while Johnsey will spend more time on his larger strategic vision, according to Axiometrics. Johnsey will focus his efforts on financing, partnerships, and acquisitions for the company.
“Our strong results, including a record 46% year-over-year booking increase, have been driven by the success of Keith Walters and the team he has put in place,” Johnsey said in a release. “Accordingly, it's the optimal time for me to transition to the role of chairman of the board and CEO and for Keith to take on new responsibility as president and COO of our growing organization.”
