If listening to or learning from more podcasts is on your resolution list for 2024, there are many multifamily-focused pods to explore. Ranging from investments and financial matters to tech and resident experiences, here are six podcasts to hit play on this year:

  1. Building Better Communities. TruAmerica Multifamily recently launched its own podcast Building Better Communities with CEO Bob Hart as host. The first episode features Bill Lindsay, co-founder of PCCP. Hart and Lindsay discuss the commercial real estate market, philanthropy, and historical comparisons.
  2. Freddie Mac Multifamily. Continuing its mission to expand affordable rental housing for all Americans, the podcast by Freddie Mac Multifamily welcomes a range of guests and topics all related to multifamily housing. A recent episode, hosted by Corey Aber and Sara Hoffmann, includes the 2024 Multifamily Outlook discussed by Michael Donnelly, multifamily research manager and report co-author.
  3. The Jake and Gino Show. This investment-minded podcast hosted by multifamily real estate investing experts Jake Stenziano and Gino Barbaro covers a wide variety of topics from the ins and outs of investments to business etiquette and corporate culture.
  4. Multifamily Unpacked. Hosted by Tyler Christiansen and presented by Funnel, the tech-oriented podcast talks property management, automation, resident experience, and more with leaders in the multifamily industry.
  5. Multifamily Live. Real estate investors Jason and Pili Yarusi share their own firsthand experiences, tips, and tricks of the industry as well as current market updates and strategies. The duo also brings in fellow multifamily investors across the nation to share their insights.
  6. Multifamily Innovation Podcast. Exploring all things innovation in multifamily and property management, each episode hosted by Patrick Antrim delves into multifamily topics, including most recently automation and artificial intelligence in the rental landscape with Kerry W. Kirby, the founder and CEO of 365 Connect.
