Denver-based Apartment Investment and Management Co. (AIMCO) has decided to consolidate its senior management ranks. The real estate investment trust has promoted Tim Beaudin to co-president and chief operating officer. He also will continue to be responsible for property operations, redevelopment, construction services, and information technology. David Robertson has been promoted to copresident, chief investment officer, and chief financial officer.
Tom Herzog, who had served as AIMCO's chief financial officer since 2005 and joined the company as chief accounting officer in 2004, resigned March 1. Herzog will continue in an advisory capacity to AIMCO following his departure.
Alliant Names Kletsman SVP of New York Office
Alliant Capital, LLC, has named Yuri Kletsman as senior vice president for the company's recently established New York office. He will manage the analysis, evaluation, and origination of Fannie Mae Delegated Underwriting and Servicing loans for the Northeast.
Kletsman has more than 25 years of experience in investment banking, including institutional asset management, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loan origination, and commercial loan product services. He has successfully closed more than $700 million in commercial mortgages on behalf of his investment clients. Prior to joining Alliant, Kletsman served as vice president of commercial real estate for Centerline Capital Group.
Marcus & Millichap Hires Senior Director
Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has hired Jamie B. May as a senior director of the National Multi Housing Group.
May will provide advisory and brokerage services to owners and investors of major apartment properties throughout Florida and the Southeast, where he has established a dominant market share.
May represents pension funds, pension fund advisers, sovereign wealth funds, and high net-worth individuals. He will also assist his clients with assignments nationally.
Most recently, May was president and CEO of JBM Realty Advisors, a multifamily investment firm based in Tampa.
