This residential development was designed as a 'floating city' that hovers over roads and waterways on a man-made lake in Chendu, China.

The development caters to various transportation needs by including automobile garages under the towers as well as boathouses and water taxis. 

This specific development is only a portion of larger developments popping up all over Luxelake in the rolling hill of Chengdu, China.

5 Design made sure the building designs were differentiated by rotating floor plans to create various protrusions from the edifice.

Each of the units have 270-degree views from balconies and protruding rooms. 

At the top of the towers are 4,000-square-foot penthouses that take advantage of the 360-degree views of the man-made lake and rolling hills of the town.

Each of the units have private gardens that residents walk through from the elevators to their units, simulating a front yard.
