Toll Brothers has filed permit applications for a new, 162-unit residential complex in Lower Manhattan that will include two 15-story buildings and 2,812 square feet of commercial space. The residential units are divided between the two towers, with 82 units in one and 80 in the other. S9 Architecture & Engineering is the architect of record for the new space.

The home builder bought the 77 Charlton St. property for $56.5 million in December 2012. The site currently contains a two-story commercial building, already approved for demolition.

Toll Brothers’ City Living division currently has seven rental properties in New York City, including buildings in the Gramercy, Upper East Side, and Brooklyn Bridge Park neighborhoods.
