Multifamily owner-operator RADCO achieved a landmark asset value of $2 billion in 2016, facilitated by $390M in new property acquisitions.
RADCO’s 14 new properties have added 4,446 units to its portfolio, which now totals 17,500 units across the Southeast and Midwest. The new properties are concentrated mostly in the Southeast, and include three new markets for RADCO: Spartanburg, Charleston, and Charlotte.
RADCO also completed $338 million in community refinancing across 13 properties, as well as eight property sales totaling $90 million. The company has also implemented its proprietary RADCO Residential management platform in all of its portfolio properties, and launched its new “Radius” brand.
To oversee the 17,500-unit multifamily portfolio, the RADCO subsidiary grew from 150 to 470 employees year-over-year.
